Outback Transport

The Hover Bus.

In my travels as a landscape photographer you see some strange and interesting things, this Hover bus (not working) was just near one of the outback tracks. Truly somebody has a sense of humour.

Lost Bus in the outback

Some of the interesting things you see in the outback.

After leaving civilisation  last year I was amazed to find in the middle of the wilderness  an abandoned bus. The discovery process (finding new things) in my job as a landscape Photographer is very rewarding. you can imagine my surprise when i drove over a sand dune and in the distance I found this bus.

The Unknown Orchid

Yesterday I was walking in the Dandenong's (500m high hills near Melbourne and was amazed to see an Orchid in flower. Being in the middle of winter and pretty cold  I was very suprised  to sight this. I believe this is a  Cattleya Orchid but am not sure can anyone help me with its correct Id.

The "SuperMoon"

SUPERMOON

“Aim for the stars, and if you miss, you may hit the moon.”
Last night would have been a good night for that, because the ‘Supermoon’ was so big over Melbourne you couldn’t have missed it.  This was a cold, hard look at 9.30 pm through a 600 mm lens on a Nikon D4 camera.
